Samsung SimGrid™ software is a Deep-Learning based scatter correction algorithm that simulates the appearance of grid-like images without the need of a physical grid. In this study, chest X-ray image quality of obese adult volunteers, who often exhibit limited X-ray image without a grid due to body size, were evaluated and compared under grid/non-grid and SimGrid™ conditions.
