Usefulness of Samsung's S-Enhance Post-Processed Digital Kidney Ureter Bladder for Detection of Ureteral Stones

Urolithiasis is a common health problem, with its estimated lifetime risk at 5–10% in Europe and the United States. Digital KUB (DR KUB) has been used as initial modality traditionally and can be used as an alternative modality in condition when obtaining CT KUB is difficult; however DR KUB is known to have lower performance than CT. The purpose of this paper was to determine diagnostic performance of ureteral stone detection with post-processed DR KUB (Samsung S-Enhance software).
