David Legg was appointed Vice President, Head of Ultrasound and Digital Radiography Business in September 2018. Prior to this, David held positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Corporate Accounts. Before joining Samsung, David held a number of Senior Commercial Leadership and General Management positions with GE Healthcare. David is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
Dr. Gujar has held key leadership positions in organizations working at the intersection of technology and healthcare with responsibility for activities supporting product adoption and value creation. Dr. Gujar has led the development and execution of worldwide regulatory strategy, domestic and international registrations, implementation and monitoring of quality management system and compliance activities. Prior to joining Samsung, Dr. Gujar worked in management consulting for portfolio medical device companies in areas ranging from market research, product strategy, business development and regulatory affairs. Dr. Gujar is an active member of the healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship community, helping mentor startups at incubators and universities.
Dr. Gujar earned a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Pune, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington, a MBA from Babson College and received his Ph.D. degree from University of West London.
Eric Sumner was appointed DR Business Leader in January 2023, leading all commercial and AI responsibilities for the Samsung Digital Radiography business in the USA market. Eric brings more than 25 years of medical imaging and device experience, where he worked for both large and small startup companies. Prior to this appointment, Eric held the position of Executive Vice President, Sales, the Americas for Konica Minolta Healthcare since 2014. Eric also held Leadership and Vice President, Sales positions with GE Healthcare and Philips Healthcare. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science graduate from Cortland State University, Cortland, New York.
Tracy, a veteran imaging executive, leads the Women’s Health Ultrasound Business with responsibility for Maternal Fetal Medicine, Assisted Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology market segments. She joins Boston Imaging after having successfully led ultrasound divisions at both Siemens and GE Healthcare. At Siemens, she was Sr. VP of Marketing, Sales, Clinical and Communications Globally. At GE Healthcare, she held various roles with increasing responsibility during her 25 year tenure, rising to General Manager for Women’s Health, Radiology and ABUS Ultrasound Segments. Tracy has a passion for providing solutions to clinicians that allow them to better serve the patient population. She holds an MBA in Management from the University of Florida.
Patty leads the General Imaging Ultrasound business, which includes Radiology, Point of Care, and Veterinary markets. Prior to taking this position, she was with GE Ultrasound for the past 8 years. She started by leading the Northeast General Imaging team and most recently was the National Director of Breast Ultrasound. Her first roles in radiology were with Suros Surgical, a start-up company targeting the breast biopsy market. After Suros was acquired by Hologic, she continued to serve in various roles and led teams in the East and Canada while at Hologic. Patty has a passion for providing solutions to clinicians that allow them to better serve their patient population. She believes that great technology and a team of people working hard together can make anything possible.
Mike joined Boston Imaging in 2022 as the Director of Service for Ultrasound & Digital Radiography in the US market. Mike brings more than 20 years of Service leadership experience in healthcare service. Mike and the entire Service team are committed to providing exceptional customer service by understanding the customer’s needs first, then modeling the service strategy with that focus in mind.
Prior to joining Boston Imaging, Mike held service leadership roles as Multi-Vendor Service Manager, Ultrasound Service Manager, and as National Customer Service Account Manager. These roles in healthcare have allowed Mike to gain a wealth of customer perspective and what is truly important, customers count on us because patients count on them. The Boston Imaging Service Team is Committed to Care.
Jason joined Samsung in December of 2022 as the Director of Federal Accounts including Veteran’s Health Administration, Department of Defense, the Indian Health System, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Jason has over 20 years of demonstrated success in both commercial and federal accounts at both Toshiba American Medical Systems and GE Healthcare. As a former Army veteran, working with the veteran and active duty servicemember population is a passion he has had the luxury to pursue and support his entire career. The Samsung Federal Accounts Team is focused on serving the needs of those who served our country as well as making sure that our current service members are mission ready. In addition, the Federal team is focused on serving our tribal communities by partnering with Indian Health to serve the communities that represent the Native American population.
Jason has a true passion for all Federal customers and considers it an honor to lead the team that serves this critically important patient population.
Anthony Tardi was appointed Head of Marketing for Digital Radiography and Ultrasound in February 2024. Anthony brings nearly 20 years of medical imaging experience, where he worked in various roles of increasing responsibility focused on sales and marketing. Most recently, Anthony served as the Global Head of Marketing for the General Imaging Ultrasound Portfolio at Siemens Healthineers. Anthony is committed to empowering clinicians with the latest technology innovations that help them to improve patient outcomes.
